Customer Testimonial

“We met with several solar companies in the area and are very happy we chose Buffalo Solar Solutions. Our solar educator was Josh, and he helped guide us through each step so there was no stress throughout the process. He answered all our questions and was very responsive. We had some very specific requests, including using American-made panels and different layouts, and he was happy to work with us to supply multiple quotes while providing the pros and cons of each quote. The installers were professional and courteous and did a fantastic job making the panels look good, even hiding the conduit so we did not have cables all over our roof. We had quotes and worked with other solar companies who were difficult to reach or were misleading with their numbers. Buffalo Solar were honest and we can’t heap enough praise on their entire staff! As an extra bonus, they are locally owned!”

The numbers in this case study pertain specifically to this customer. Prices and monthly solar payments are based off of current market prices and numerous other factors. (Get your free solar consultation and solar panel estimate »)

*Customers are still responsible for paying the basic hookup fee to the utility company (in this case, NYSEG), which ranges from approximately $15–$17 a month (plus tax).

**This customer chose to pay off his system faster by choosing a 10-year term, which has a lower interest rate but a higher monthly payment. Most of our customers choose a 15-year term, which in most cases brings their solar payment down to the same cost as their average electric bill or sometimes even cheaper! Keep in mind whichever term the customer chooses, they can pay off their system early with NO prepayment penalties.
